Out of the woods and onto the west bank for sunrise. Here comes the pink. That’s the Kittatinny Ridge on the left. The Osprey landed in a tree over there; too far away for my camera.Meanwhile the sunrise continued. There were some golden moments. The sun continued ascending. The light was upon us.The tree on the left is a Shag Bark Hickory. There are a lot of them around here. The northeast corner of the lake becomes a marsh. It was cool, so the mosquitoes were at a minimum.geopsych and I like this Beech that stands in the woods by the marsh.
Big beech and tulip poplar, dutchman’s breeches, spring beauties, crinkle root, bloodroot, trout lilies can all be found in these woods. Not bad for a county park in the middle of a very populated area.
